FOTOSHOP FRIDAY - WEEK 2!!!

WELCOME TO FOTOSHOP FRIDAY - WEEK 2!!!

Considering no one submitted any pictures from last week I guess we are going to start anew.

Here is your original picture for this week!! You can also get the pic from the Little Rock Star page.

I'm sure Shmotz will love anything we make of him. ;)

RULES:

1. A picture (or two depending on if we get lucky enough) will be offered to you photoshop/picture editing guru's out there via here at the Little Rock Star Blog at the end of every Mushroomhead Monday when we feature that week's "Fotoshop Friday" winner. This picture will be Mushroomhead related. If I can't find anything cool enough or high quality enough to use we might chose another victim musician from another band we are close friends with.

2. Your masterpieces must be respectable and non-offensive. There is so much humor to be had without making it rated R or X. The more creative or funny you make your entry the greater chance of "winning" you'll have.

3. You will have from Monday to Thursday at Midnight CST of that week to submit your photoshopped masterpieces to the LRS email: littlerockstarstl@yahoo.com. Please title your emails "Fotoshop Friday" and make sure to leave your full name in the submission email.

4. On Friday the entries will be posted up on the blog and a poll will be used for visitors to come and vote on your picture. Voting will be available until Sunday at Midnight CST.

5. The following Monday the "winner" of that weeks "Fotoshop Friday" poll will be featured on the LRS page during Mushroomhead Monday. That featured winner will be entered as a contestant into a monthly "giveaway" we will  have that will be between 4 and 5 entries (depending on how many weeks in the month).

Remember.... you have to be a LRS fan to even be entered to win!!!

FOTOSHOP FRIDAY!!

So I came up with this marvelous idea yesterday whilst working on Mushroomhead Monday stuff. It's not a new idea to me though so let me give you a little background.....

Back when I was a web designer from 2007-2009 we would work our asses off all week then take a few hours out of our Friday's to do "Fotoshop Friday". Basically what that entailed is someone during the week would take a high quality picture of someone else we worked with in the office (usually in a totally unsuspecting incognito way or they would lie and say it was for the employee website). That original picture would be sent to all of the designers in a huge email list first thing Friday morning. During the day each "photo shopped" picture of the original would be submitted via "Reply All" and by the end of the day everyone would chime in on who they thought the best submission was. It was great because in our cubicle farm you couldn't see anyone while sitting down with 5 feet tall walls surrounding you, but you sure as shit could hear everyone giggling when an email with a submission was sent out to everyone. Fotoshop Friday's ended up being a successful way to take a refreshing break from the consistent work flow and to get a laugh or two in (usually more), plus make fun of your fellow employees in a tasteful yet totally humorous way.

So after I saw some pictures of our Mushroomhead family from this past Mayhem tour I just couldn't help myself.....

 I can't even think of anything more epic than a water drumstick wielding Stitch riding a unicorned killer whale with turntables plugged into its ass spitting awesome DJ tunes out of its horn and Roberto Diablo using his skateboarding balancing skills to hover-board a pterodactyl over the cartoon ocean as he throws lightening bolts from his hands at the X Face fish jumping from the water.
