NEW 2 PART CONTEST GIVEAWAY!!!

It's been over a year since we had a giveaway so it's about time to have another!!! Except this one is a creative two-part contest which I think is a pretty cool idea. 

PART 1

So far there hasn't been a Mushroomhead Greatest Hits album. I mean, 20 years and no greatest hits??That's crazy.

You come up with 12-15 tracks for a Mushroomhead greatest hits album with tracks from what albums you think are appropriate, new and old. Really think about this one. Think of all the amazing songs that MRH has released and narrow it down to that amount. Granted we know it's a hard thing to do, but that's what makes this challenge great!

You email only one track list into us at littlerockstarstl@yahoo.com.

PART 2

A greatest hits album needs the greatest album art ever!!

You whip out your artistic abilities and create an album cover that will blow the minds of all the guys in the band and all their fans. Common... you know you can do it. Think outside the box. 

Get to brainstorming. Get really creative. Get saucy. Get to drawing.

You email only one album art submission into us at littlerockstarstl@yahoo.com.

There are no multiple entries.

Please make sure your submission is a file, not a picture of your art, ie: don't send us a cell phone picture of what you want to submit. Please send submissions in digital format.

WHAT YOU'LL WIN

An amazing tour poster signed by everyone and a bunch of other shit we plan on sticking in there. It's been awhile so don't think we are going to go all chintzy on you guys. We just need to grab a few things and won't be able to do so until the guys get to St. Louis.

THE DRAWING

You know what the cool thing is about this contest? LRS and a member of Mushroomhead will be picking out the winners when they come to St. Louis on September 4th, so the winners aren't picked by us. Your entries are going to be seen by MRH too!! So you have from now until Midnight CST on Thursday, September 3rd to submit your entries. We will probably have a really busy day on the 4th so the winners will be announced in a giveaway winner post on the blog on Saturday, September 5th!!

This contest IS OPEN to fans outside of the US.

Please note that if you win and you live outside of the US, I will ask that you pay for shipping of the prize. I wish we could pay for shipping but because all prizes come from our own pockets it's simply just too much for us to afford to ship internationally.

FOTOSHOP FRIDAY - WEEK 2!!!

WELCOME TO FOTOSHOP FRIDAY - WEEK 2!!!

Considering no one submitted any pictures from last week I guess we are going to start anew.

Here is your original picture for this week!! You can also get the pic from the Little Rock Star page.

I'm sure Shmotz will love anything we make of him. ;)

RULES:

1. A picture (or two depending on if we get lucky enough) will be offered to you photoshop/picture editing guru's out there via here at the Little Rock Star Blog at the end of every Mushroomhead Monday when we feature that week's "Fotoshop Friday" winner. This picture will be Mushroomhead related. If I can't find anything cool enough or high quality enough to use we might chose another victim musician from another band we are close friends with.

2. Your masterpieces must be respectable and non-offensive. There is so much humor to be had without making it rated R or X. The more creative or funny you make your entry the greater chance of "winning" you'll have.

3. You will have from Monday to Thursday at Midnight CST of that week to submit your photoshopped masterpieces to the LRS email: littlerockstarstl@yahoo.com. Please title your emails "Fotoshop Friday" and make sure to leave your full name in the submission email.

4. On Friday the entries will be posted up on the blog and a poll will be used for visitors to come and vote on your picture. Voting will be available until Sunday at Midnight CST.

5. The following Monday the "winner" of that weeks "Fotoshop Friday" poll will be featured on the LRS page during Mushroomhead Monday. That featured winner will be entered as a contestant into a monthly "giveaway" we will  have that will be between 4 and 5 entries (depending on how many weeks in the month).

Remember.... you have to be a LRS fan to even be entered to win!!!
