As we all know the Mushroomhead 20th Anniversary Halloween show was beyond epic and very memorable for us. Not only were we humbled that MRH invited our son to play on stage with them at one of the most important shows ever... we were blown away that on the same day 3 years ago our little dude took the stage with Skinny to play the same song for the first time ever.

I had a mommy moment. Hell, I had a few mommy moments.

So here I am crossing my fingers for a couple weeks after the show that LRS gets A BUNCH more fans, not only to make him happy but to make this giveaway fun. Well hmmmmffff, that didn't happen at the rate I expected. It's all good though, LRS's numbers still keep growing because of you awesome fans giving him props and sharing his page!!!

The "Your Guess is as Good as Mine" Fan Giveaway!!!

We are exactly one week away from being at the Agora in Cleveland and watching LRS perform at the Mushroomhead 20th Anniversary Halloween Show!!! To celebrate this awesome event and this milestone for our little dude we are having a giveaway!! 

But see, this giveaway is more like a contest, and it's kinda like a mystery too, even to us.

Why, you ask? Because of two reasons:

1. We have no clue what we will be acquiring as giveaway merch until we get up to Cleveland.

2. We don't know how many fans our little dude will acquire after the show!

Just think about it...

If the Mushroomhead Official page on FB could share two pictures from the Little Rock Star page about a month ago, and in less than 24 hours LRS gets 1000 more fans, how many fans will he have after the show?

*mind blown*

Get Scooby and the Gang because we have a mystery on our hands!!

Oooooh yeah, and just in time for Halloween too!!

OUR GIFT TO ONE LUCKY FAN IS:

Ok, so here's the deal....

LRS is currently at 3416 fans on FB. You, yes you, have one week from today, Saturday October 19th, until midnight the day of the show, Saturday October 26th, to guess a number and post it in a comment on the blog. Not just any number, but the final number YOU think LRS will have as fans 2 weeks from the show date, Saturday November 9th at midnight.

Example 1: "LRS has 3416 fans right now. I think by Nov 9th he'll have 10,000 more fans so the final number I will guess is 13,416 fans."

Example 2: It's kind of like that guessing game of "There's a million gumballs in this glass jar. Guess a number of how many and if you are closest to that number you win a prize!" type of contest.

Believe me when I say we make our MRH giveaways worth the shipping you would have to invest in getting your prize to you. SATURATE GIVEAWAY!!!

This past weekend we were graced with the amazing presence and performance of one of our favorite bands, Saturate from Baytown, TX. On this Damage the Memory tour, which started in Louisiana and ends back in Texas, a St. Louis performance wasn't even a blip on the tour radar screen due to venue booking issues. Before the tour even started EVERYWHERE reasonable in St. Louis was booked for the only day that they would be able to come and play, and that left my husband and I very downhearted. We knew they were going on tour soon and for us to miss them would just totally SUCK.

SOOOOO....

My boy Mike Mexas (one of the guitarists) and I got together and started brainstorming a solution to get their asses up here and make a special visit for us. I mean, don't get me wrong... we aren't "special rock star people" or anything, we're just huge Saturate fans and there was NO WAY we were letting the possibility for a performance here in St. Louis to slip on by. 

*insert crazy planning for a kick ass show*

After all the chaos was over with and the plans were set in stone we waited for our guys to show up at our private venue to perform. That Saturday night was filled with amazing music, laughs, incredible times and memories to last a lifetime. But here's the kicker, by the end of the night we found out that: 1) This was their one and only acoustic performance on this tour. 2) Their new guitarist, Lance Arny from FLAW, had never performed with them acoustically before.

......wait, what????

Are you shitting me?

Well then, looks like we got to be a little part of history.

1700, 1800... Uh, I mean 1900 FAN GIVEAWAY!!

HELL YEAH!!

At the beginning of last week LRS had 1660 fans... He's up to 1880 now!!! This is time #3 I've had to rename this post title because I'm positive with all your guys' help LRS will make it to 1900 by the drawing!! You probably already know that this past Tuesday LRS killed the water drums with Mushroomhead playing Damage Done with St1tch by his side. While we were there with the guys we scored this great gear for one lucky fan!
